Sandra Lee Yelvington age 61 of Milton, FL passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016 after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Sandy was born on December 24, 1954 in Baltimore, MD. She attended the Maryland School of Arts and Parson School of Design in New York City before she found her calling as a portrait artist. She worked primarily in pastels and oils and was fiercly passionate about her art.
Sandy loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening, playing scrabble, and riding her own Harley Davidson. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother, as well as a loyal friend that always tried to help others going through difficult times. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin N. Rubin of Baltimore, MD and Francis F. Rubin of Milton, FL. She is survived by her devoted husband of 29 years, Henry Evan (Blondie) Yelvington of Milton, FL; son Roger Yelvington of Centerville, VA; stepdaughter Amber Yelvington of Pensacola, FL; and dog-son Bingo Lee Yelvington of Milton, FL.
She will be missed by all.
