Part-time Art Instructor
Part-Time Art Instructors report to the Education and Volunteer Coordinator and the Executive Director. The Art Instructor will collaborate with the Education Coordinator to create, lead, and facilitate art lessons that reinforce the fundamental principles of art and allow for individual expression and creativity. In keeping with the Pensacola Museum of Art's Mission to educate a diverse population in the community about art, we offer art education programs to several organizations in the area at no cost to participants. The part-time art instructor is responsible for facilitating the Museum's programs at the museum and various locations. This individual is organized, professional, and passionate about art and has a teaching background. Must be available some nights and weekends.
- Have 1-2 years of art education experience
- Possess effective classroom management skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Bachelors degree in studio art or education required
