The Pensacola Museum of Art Education Department is committed to cultivating meaningful programs
that connect communities and visual culture through classes, participatory projects, and interactive
and hands-on exhibition experiences. Each exhibition tells a story, and through participation and thoughtful
presentation, our staff encourages visitors to carefully consider the exhibition’s intent, content, and mission,
no matter what age or learning level. We aim to be an inclusive and creative resource for Pensacola as a whole,
and to serve as the gateway between the public and the Pensacola Museum of Art as an institution.
Through our classes, demos, and semester programs, we encourage students to not only learn
artistic techniques and become more engaged with their own ingenuity, but also to challenge students
to consider and practice artistic movements, relate key moments in art history,
and connect with our creative community.
