FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
May I see all of the Museum's Permanent Collection year-round?
Selections from our Permanent Collection will be on view intermittently in different areas of the museum. However, throughout the year we may be hosting special exhibitions or holding art classes in the gallery that may affect the availability of viewing the collection. A few selections from the Permanent Collection currently hang throughout the lobby and hallways of the Museum.
I have a piece of artwork that I think may be valuable, but I don't know anything about it. May I bring it to the Museum for someone to look at?
While we love art of all kinds, the staff is not authorized to make judgments about artwork that the Museum does not own. We encourage you to research and discover information about your piece on your own, or with the help of your insurance company, local appraisal, or estate sale service. If you are interested in giving a gift of artwork to the Museum, please contact us at (850) 432-6247.
Is the Pensacola Museum of Art wheelchair or stroller accessible?
Yes! To enter the building, please have a member of your party alert the front desk attendant, and we will be happy to show you to the ramp located on the side of the building. The Museum is equipped with one elevator and all galleries are accessible to guests using wheelchairs and others who may need to avoid stairs.
