Blue Book Fund
Please consider opening your personal Blue Book account, which will enable you to contribute to the purchase of a work of art for the Museum’s Permanent Collection. The Blue Book is a thoughtful and generous way to add to the PMA Collection.
The process works as follows: The Collections Committee will identify works of art they wish to acquire to add to the Permanent Collection. The identified artwork to be purchased will be in keeping with the Museum’s Collections’ policy. Once you Blue Book account is open, the Committee will ask your permission to use your funds to purchase a specific work of art. In some instances, more than one person may be asked to contribute to a purchase if all are in agreement to contribute. A minimum donation of $200 will open your Blue Book account. Additional contributions can be made in any amount at any time; however, in the event no donation has been made to an account within a 3 year period, the Blue Book account is added to the Museum’s general art acquisition fund.
When a work of art is purchased with money from your Blue Book fund, a plaque with your name will always be shown with the pieces.
